This made me cry some big crocodile tears. I've gone through this a few times now, and reliving your moment with you brings it all back.

I now have three graves beside my shed in the shade of a tree with a marker where their bodies rest. I think of them daily. I think of all the love we shared and how much they changed our lives.

Those final moments, watching them go, are the most poignant in my memory. As painful as they were, the love and beauty present in those moments are forever with me.
