So true. Years ago I heard them on an indie radio station in Pittsburgh. I thought, “Yeah, I love this song! Gotta get some Gomez!” So I did, expecting a similar style throughout the album, and was struck by what I heard.

Now that I know they break the mould on every song, I’m prepared for it, knowing that each one may be its own beautiful, independent, deserted island.
