It also occurs to me that, even as writers, we will always fail at capturing the feel of the situation. If you think about it, how are we supposed to sum up a 10-year relationship in a thousand words? Or ten-thousand? Or a million? I'm in the situation and I'll never know all there is to know!

I don't know what will happen with our relationship. Honestly, a large percentage of the time things are good. Other times, not so much.

But to know that I have a supportive friend like you out there makes a world of difference.
