My goal is to make your list every single time. In fact, just make a CR list. ;)

But maybe I'm on your list because I think those things too. The community aspects of small neighborhoods and local schools. The connection to people. Church did provide that, but there was a dark side of course.

Then again, I know there's always a dark side. Learning about things before we were ready, being exposed to who-knows-what out there in the world.

I often catch myself wondering if it was a simpler time or if I've romanticized the past.
