Lovely reflection here. Though I can relate with my parents reaching their upper 60s, I'm in the middle of a book about Complexity Theory and how, at a certain scale, there is no difference between you and your mom. You will forever be connected because you were with her the day she was born, and you will forever be made of parts of her.

And, now that you've written this piece, when you look at your hands you'll always think of hers.
