I LOVE this entire thought process. You're exactly right. There's an element of humility in the recognition that we are indeed standing on the shoulders of all that came before us. How can we not be? We're influenced by people who were influenced by....everything. The only "content" we can actually create are the combination of elements we influence. That is all.
