Good for you. And I must say, riding a bike isn't unlike any other skill. Much of what you say can be applied to writing or swimming, as well.

I taught my daughter to ride without training wheels last spring in the middle of lockdown. It was arduous, but I'll never forget it. She, on the other hand, may forget learning. I don't remember learning or who taught me. You, though, will remember, and you should be proud of yourself.
