For crying out loud, Daniel. This is probably the nicest thing anyone has ever said about any of my work. I began to cry as I read it.

Everything you said about me was certainly humbling. But it sounds to me like you have the same need that many of have: the need to write.

And what this piece was about was to say fuck the results because they just don't matter. We're all amazing, and we all have interesting stories to tell. Don't let anyone tell you you can't.

I can also say that Medium is the place for you. As an editor for a few pubs, many of the submissions are complete garbage even compared to your response here. Your work would be worlds above the vast majority of what you see here. And truthfully, the vast majority of readers and writers here on Medium are supportive.

My writing is an example of mediocre work, but it's authentic. I think most people relate to authenticity alone.
